Dear Lovers of language

which of the following synonyms goes best with "...practice" ? or rather: does any of them not fit at all??
sustained...? persistent...? continuous...? constant...? prolonged...?

(to me they all sound great but maybe an english ear would say "nah you can't say that!" ?)
(of course i'm aware of the various nuances in meaning)
(and if you spot any mistake in my post please share it with me)

Thank You!

Hi Osana Sin,

To my ears these are all correct collocations - I'd say it would depend on the context what word would sound "just right" in any particular case.

Did you have any particular example in mind?

Great!
It's really helpful to get feedback...
it was a text about practicing mindfulness and i had to mention it several times so i started wondering whether all of them would sound right...

Thanks!

Hi Osana Sin

I found quite a few examples with "sustained practice of mindfulness", but likewise for "continuous practice of mindfulness"
