This summer in the very old and beautiful farmhouse of l ’ Etambeau, the Pays d ’ Enhaut Museum is exhibiting the work of a person well-known in the Valley.
Eighty figurative patchworks by Penny Favre, covering twenty years of artistic activity, are being presented fifteen years since Penny gave up using this medium of expression.
In 1978, the journalist Claude Richoz wrote in a Genevan newspaper, « Penny Favre ’ s skill in mastering the art of patchwork and the originality of her expression, make her a much appreciated artist who does honour to the Pays-d ’ Enhaut »
