Hölzel s colour theory, as well as his doctrine of the ' Primat der Mittel ', manifests itself in Ida Kerkovius ' work in new, un-dogmatic elements.
www.kettererkunst.deFasziniert von den Werken einer Hölzel-Schülerin im Rigaer Kunstsalon fasst sie 1902 den Entschluss, ihr Studium in Dachau bei München fortzusetzen, wo Adolf Hölzel eine private Malschule gegründet hatte.
Der Farbenlehre Hölzels sowie seiner Lehre vom Primat der Mittel verleiht Ida Kerkovius in ihrem Werk neue, undogmatische Züge.
