Who are these kings ?
Previously, in the same chapter, both the King of the North and the King of the South were already mentioned, but those kings are understood to be from the Seleucid Empire in Syria and the Ptolemaic Dynasty in Egypt.
Beginning at verse 36, however, an event that will take place in the end-times is described, which we can clearly recognize from Daniel 12:1.
