All Afghanistan ’s teacher training colleges are now using the new teacher-training curriculum developed with support from GIZ.
Two thirds of the tutors and teachers who have undergone in-service training are now using methods that actively involve students in their teaching – a huge step forward, given that a teacher-centred approach to education has traditionally been the norm in schools in the country.
