Im Frühjahr wird sie erst spät aktiv ( Ende April / Anfang Mai ), während etwa Raupen von Pyrgus serratulae schon Ende Februar oder Anfang März aktiv werden.
Dies korreliert offenbar mit dem späten Austrieb von Molinia.
Die Flugzeit liegt von Anfang Juli bis Mitte August.
