Glykoproteine sind wiederholt an Pollen- und Narbenoberflächen identifiziert worden.
Bei Galanthus nivalis wird die Adhäsion der Pollen durch Zugabe von ConA drastisch reduziert, was wiederum ein Hinweis darauf ist, daß Lektin-Lektinrezeptor-Inter... an der Stabilisierung der Bindung zwischen den Zellen maßgeblich beteiligt sind.
