Praxiserfahrung holte Pius bei der UBS , unter anderem in den Bereichen Global Derivatives Risk Management und Risk Management Consulting sowie als langjähriger Research und Teaching Assistent am Institut für Finanzmanagement der Universität Bern .
Er ist Autor verschiedener Publikationen und Co-Autor des Lehrmittels „ Handbuch der Bewertung ".

Pius studied at the Universities of Bern ( Switzerland ) and Rochester, New York ( USA ) and graduated magna cum laude with a Master Degree in Economics and Business Administration ( lic.rer.pol ).
He completed PHD courses in finance from CFPI Centre pour la Formation des Professionnels de Investissement, ICMB International Center for Monetary and Banking Studies at the University of Geneva and Institute for Financial Management at the University of Bern.
