Meg Stuart lebt und arbeitet als Choreografin und Tänzerin in Brüssel und Berlin.
Auf Einladung des Klapstuk Festivals in Leuven entstand 1991 ihr erstes Stück, „Disfigure Study”.
1994 gründete sie ihre eigene Kompanie Damaged Goods und machte Brüssel zu ihrer künstlerischen Heimat.
