Tatty Theo studierte Musik am Queens College, Oxford, und führte ihre Studien als Aufbaustudium am Royal College of Music bei Anthony Pleeth und Jennifer Ward Clarke fort.
Dort erhielt sie ihren akademischen Grad als ARCM und MMu. Tatty Theo hat bereits viele Preise gewonnen, so z.B. den ersten Preis des 1995 stattfindenden “Century Fund Early Music” Wettbewerbes, ebenso erhielt sie das NOSWAD Stipendium für ihre weiterführenden Studien.
Sie spielte bereits mit zahlreichen Ensembles zusammen und ist bei vielen Konzerten und auf vielen Festivals die im Fernsehn und Radio übertragen wurden aufgetreten.
