They use acoustic instruments such as steel-stringed guitar, zither, or vibraphone, as well as theremin, electric guitar, effects, or laptop.
Neuwirth ’ s work was recently featured at documenta 12; she is currently working on the score for a film by Michael Glawogger and on her HOMMAGE À KLAUS NOMI.
