Die Prüfungen können bei privaten Berufsbildungseinrichtungen abgelegt werden, die dafür vom Bildungsministerium akkreditiert sein müssen.
Zu diesem Zweck kooperiert das Ministerium eng mit dem Verband der privaten Berufsbildungseinrichtungen (Uganda Association of Private Vocational Institutions, UGAPRIVI).
Ein anderer wichtiger Partner ist der ugandische Verband der Klein- und Kleinstunternehmer (Uganda Small Scale Industries Association, USSIA).
