Der Wanderweg Nr.9 führt dich zuerst an der Bezirksgrenze ca. 100m in südöstlicher Richtung und dreht dann nach Nordosten.
Entlang der Westseite der steilen Berglehne und dann an der Nordseite weiter, wandern wir in das weite Kar der Winkleralm weiter.
Nach 700m führt der Wanderweg dann wieder in südöstlicher Richtung über die Ausläufer des gratartigen Kammes zum Gipfel hinauf.
