Die Doppelblock-Anlage setzt sich zusammen aus zwei baugleichen Kraftwerksblöcken („Block D“ und „Block E“) mit einer Leistung von insgesamt 1.600 Megawatt.

Die neue Doppelblock-Anlage ist so konzipiert, dass sie vollständig in den bestehenden Kraftwerksstandort integriert werden kann und kein wesentlicher zusätzlicher Flächenverbrauch außerhalb des Kraftwerks erforderlich wird.
Neben der Errichtung der beiden Blockanlagen werden am Standort vorhandene Anlagen und Systeme weiterverwendet und den Erfordernissen der neuen Steinkohleblöcke angepasst.

The new twin unit plant is designed such that it can be fully integrated into the existing power plant site and does not consume much additional space outside the power plant.
