Ihr Modell ermöglicht es erstmals, die Bilder von jungen Galaxien, welche Großteleskope liefern, direkt mit einer Computersimulation der Galaxie-Entwicklung zu vergleichen.
Am Max-Planck-Institut für Astrophysik entwickelt sie jetzt ähnliche Modelle für Schwarze Löcher, Dunkle Materie und Quasare.
