Um die Wärmeleitfähigkeit von Fragmenten ( k F ) eines Materials ( bzw. von Pulver ) zu ermitteln, werden diese mit Wasser gemischt und die Wärmeleitfähigkeit der Mischung ( k M ) mit einer Halbraum- Messung bestimmt.
Aus der gemessenen Wärmeleitfähigkeit der Mischung, der bekannten Wärmeleitfähigkeit von Wasser ( k W ) und dem Volumenanteil v an Wasser in der Probe wird dann die Wärmeleitfähigkeit der Fragmente berechnet.
