Die 2012 bewilligte Graduiertengruppe „SIMOS – Strukturbiologie von Interaktions-Modulen bei Stress“ hat mit dem kick-off meeting seine Arbeit aufgenommen.
Diese interdisziplinäre Gruppe aus den Fachbereichen Biologie (Biozentrum Klein Flottbek) und Chemie kombiniert die vorhandene Infrastruktur und Expertise der beteiligten Arbeitsgruppen im Bereich molekularbiologischer, biochemischer und molekularphysiologischer Methoden mit bildgebenden Methoden verschiedener Auflösungsbereiche und hochauflösenden Methoden zur Strukturaufklärung unter der am DESY verfügbaren Synchrotronstrahlung.

The small graduate group Structural Biology of Interaction Modules under Stress (SIMOS) approved in 2012 began its work with a kick-off meeting.
This interdisciplinary group involving the Departments of Biology (Biocenter Klein Flottbek) and Chemistry combines the existing infrastructure and expertise of the participating research groups active in the fields of molecular biological, biochemical, and molecular physiological methods with visualization methods of various resolution ranges and high-resolution methods for structural elucidation using the synchrotron radiation available at DESY.
