großer kristall mit ätzfiguren an beiden enden. die flusssäure, die diese ätzfiguren erzeugte, ätzte auch einen großen eingeschlossenen turmalinkristall aus dem aquamarin. es entstand ein "negativer kristall", ein an die oberfläche reichender hohlraum in der form des ursprünglichen turmalins, der sogar noch dessen typische streifung (striation) zeigt! schliff:

large aquamarine crystal with etch figures at both ends. the hydrofluoric acid causing these figures also etched an included, large tourmaline crystal out of the aquamarine. the result is a surface-reaching "negative crystal", a cavity in the shape of the tourmaline crystal which even shows the tourmalines typical striations! cut:
