Ziel des Teilprojektes ist es, präzise und verallgemeinerungsfähige Aussagen zur Ammoniak-Verflüchtigung, Veränderung im OBS-Vorrat sowie über Klima- und Ökobilanzen beim Energiepflanzenanbau zur Biogaserzeugung, speziell den Einsatz von Gärrückständen, zu gewinnen und Maßnahmen zur Minderung der Klimawirkung abzuleiten.
Schwerpunkt ist die Ableitung standortspezifischer Emissionsfaktoren Ammoniak, Lachgas und Methan sowie deren Einbindung in die Berechnung von Ökobilanzen am Beispiel des Energiepflanzenanbaus.

Aim of the project is to develop precise but also generalisable statements about ammonia volatilisation and alteration of the soil carbon content due to returning digestate from biogas plants to the field.Moreover the reduction potential for greenhouse gases (GHG) and ammonia will be estimated.
The main focus is to educe specific emissions factors for ammonia, nitrous oxide and methane that can be included in regional-specific life cycle assessment studies for energy crops.
