Sie ist Gründerin und künstlerische Leiterin der „Raw Material Company“, eines Ausstellungsraums für Kunstpraxis und Gesellschaftskritik.
Die „Raw Material Company“ beteiligte sich 2011 am Fortbildungsprogramm des Goethe-Instituts „Kulturmanagement in Afrika“.

Using this retrospective-style approach, the exhibition reveals the artist’s universal logic of appropriation and presents a complex oeuvre that straddles Appropriation Art, Pop Art, Institutional Critique and social criticism.

In den Filmen von Lukas Moodysson („Fucking Amål“) und Roy Andersson („Songs from the Second Floor“), den beiden profiliertesten Autoren des schwedischen Kinos, spürte er einer vergleichbaren Gesellschaftskritik und ästhetischen Radikalität nach, die sie zu einer Erforschung von Grenzerfahrungen des modernen Subjekts führt.
Die Ähnlichkeiten. so Larsson, lassen sich weniger stilistisch, also in einer Anlehnung an die Dogma-Regeln, als in der künstlerischen Selbstdefinition erkennen.

Focussing on Lukas Moodysson („Fucking Amål“) and Roy Andersson („Songs from the Second Floor“), the most remarkable auteurs of contemporary Swedish cinema, he found a similar social criticism and aesthetic radicalism exploring the realm of modern subjecitivity.
The similarities, Larsson explained, can be recognised better in their artistic self definition than in stylistic features complying with the Dogma rules.

Generell war wohl Gesellschaftskritik ein Thema der Vernissage, so haben mich eher zwei Filme in den bann gezogen.
Einer der Filme zeigte auf zwei Leinwänden Szenen von französischen Demonstrationen, Singende, tanzende und vor allem wütende Franzosen mit Sprüchen – oft offensichtlich gegen Sarkosis.

General social criticism was probably an issue of opening, so I have two more films drawn into the spell.
One of the films on two screens showed scenes of French demonstrations, Singing, dancing and especially angry with French sayings – often obvious to Sarkosis.

And of course the comic book is a close relative of caricature – traditionally used as a tool for social criticism not only in the way it tells a story but also in its drastic representation and journalistic format.
However the fact that recently the discussion has turned to the political and historical importance to be found in comic books is largely due to the influence of the US alternative comic book and in particular the success of Maus, in which Art Spiegelman tells the story of his father, a Holocaust survivor.
