Die BewohnerInnen sollen damals nicht über den Unfall informiert worden sein und einige wiesen Symptome einer Quecksilbervergiftung auf.
Im Jahr 2006 erhielten Dr. Mirtha Vásquez Chuquilín und Pater Marco Arana Morddrohungen, wurden verfolgt und beschattet (s. UA-312/2006).
