Gemeinsam mit dem Berner Videokünstler Michael Spahr und mit klassischen Musikern aus Aegypten und dem Libanon spielt Mahmoud Turkmani in der arabischen Welt gegen musikalische, politische und religiöse Dogmen an – mit Klängen und kaligraphischen Bildern von ergreifender Schönheit.
