An dem Tag hat die Universität zu drei Veranstaltungen unter dem Motto „ Establishing research collaborations with Germany “ eingeladen, an denen Vertreter der DFG, des DAADs und der deutschen Botschaft teilnahmen.
Der Tag bestand aus zwei Vortragsrunden – die erste in der medizinischen Fakultät, die etwas außerhalb Ottawas liegt, und die zweite auf dem Hauptcampus für die restlichen Fakultäten.
