Prickly heat (miliaria rubra) is a common skin condition that occurs in some people when they sweat more than usual and the sweat glands become blocked.
Pediatricians say children are susceptible to prickly heat, impetigo, fungus infection, dry skin, dehydration, urinary infection, chicken pox, measles and particularly diarrhoea caused by water contamination.
