2010 to 2016 Context Mozambique has been experiencing an economic boom for around ten years, but the population has benefited little.
This is mainly because economic growth is primarily attributable to exports of raw materials, whereas the majority of the population works in the low-productivity informal sector and in agriculture.
In order to combat poverty in Mozambique, impetus for development must therefore be provided for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME).

Context Burkina Faso’s strategy for growth and sustainable development includes the goals of annual economic growth of 10% and a reduction in the share of the population living in poverty to 35% from its current level of more than 40%.
The government intends to meet these targets by stimulating investments in agriculture, mining and infrastructure through 2015 and promoting these sectors in particular.
